NCAD FADEC is a jet turbine ECU we developed for micro jet engines in the 40–300 N class. It manages start-up, idle, acceleration and shutdown fully automatically, so the pilot only has to move the throttle.
What does a jet turbine ECU do?
A jet turbine ECU is the brain of the engine. It measures exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and RPM hundreds of times per second, drives the fuel pump accordingly and keeps the engine inside its safe operating limits. If a temperature or RPM limit is exceeded, it cuts the fuel and protects the engine.

The ECU works together with our NCAD GCS ground control software for Windows. Watch live RPM, EGT and pump values, tune parameters for your engine and review the logs.
Jet turbine ECU FAQ
Can I use it on my current engine? It works with most micro jet engines. We set the wiring and parameters together based on the engine's pump, valves, starter and temperature sensor. Just tell us your engine model.
Who does the installation? You can do the wiring yourself; we provide a step-by-step wiring diagram and a first-run guide. Or send the engine to our workshop and we will install the jet turbine ECU and do the test run.
Are there software updates? Yes. New features and improvements are installed through the ground control software, and updates are free.
Is there a warranty and support? The product comes with a warranty. We provide technical support for installation, tuning and faults, and inspect and repair the unit if needed.
