NCAD GCS is Windows-based turbine telemetry software and tuning tool we developed for the NCAD FADEC engine control unit. Monitor, tune and review your engine from a computer.
What can you do with the turbine telemetry software?
- Live RPM, EGT and pump values on charts
- Tune start-up, idle and acceleration parameters for your engine
- Open and analyse flight and fault logs
- Connect over USB or Wi-Fi
- Runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11
The turbine telemetry software lets you see how the engine runs in numbers. A small temperature rise or RPM instability can be the first sign of a fault that will grow later; with logs you notice it early.
Use in service and maintenance
We use the same software in our workshop during RC jet engine service. Comparing logs before and after maintenance confirms that the engine has really been fixed.
Turbine telemetry software FAQ
Which computers does it run on? Laptops or desktops with Windows 10 or Windows 11. It was designed for use with a laptop at the field.
How do I connect? Connect to the ECU with a USB cable or over Wi-Fi. With Wi-Fi you can watch values while the engine is installed in the aircraft.
Can logs be exported? Yes. Flight and fault logs are saved on the computer; send them to us for service or keep them in your own archive.
What if I mess up the settings? You can return to the default settings with one click. The turbine telemetry software does not allow critical parameters outside safe limits.
Licence and support
The software is used with the NCAD FADEC jet turbine ECU and updates are free. For installation or usage questions, write to us.
